We are currently hiring for a Retail Sales & Admin Assistant.


Position: Retail Sales & Admin Assistant

Hours: Part-time (20-25 hours a week)

Reports to: CEO

Responsibilities:

  • Welcoming guests
  • Check out for purchases using POS system
  • Assistance in coordinating lounge events
  • Assistance in facilitating rentals for events
  • Keeping store tidy and ready to receive guests
  • Inventory management
  • Managing executives’ calendars and set up meetings
  • Format information for internal and external communication – memos, emails, presentations, reports
  • Organize and maintain the office filing system
  • Screen and direct phone calls and distribute correspondence
  • Initiates, coordinates and/or participates in all efforts to publicize events
  • Manage email newsletter and blog
  • Client Retention - following up via phone and email
  • Special projects, as needed

Minimum Requirements:

  • Associates degree or equivalent work experience
  • Prior managerial experience preferred 
  • Dependable, accountable and responsible
  • Strong communication skills in all directions
  • Customer service-oriented, with attention to detail
  • Ability to keep cool and collected in fast-paced environments
  • Flexible schedule; must be able to work 5 days per week including at least 1 weekend day
  • Passion for wellness and conscious living
  • Must have your own reliable transportation
  • Proficient with computers (including Mac use)
  • Experience with retail/sales preferred
  • Experience with or open to learning about about healing arts
  • Regular communication with management and staff
  • Social media savvy
  • Proactive problem solver
  • Punctual and on-time
  • Excellent writing skills
  • 18 years or older
